How Do You Fancy a Hotel Owner Like Basil Fawlty

I was reminiscing about the good old days with a friend the other day. We got chatting about some of the fantastic old comedy shows that we used to tune into back in the 1970’s

She was telling me that one of her favourite shows used to be Fawlty Towers, which course starred the fantastic John Cleese.

I had to agree that this show was British comedy at its very finest, and certainly caused a great amount of laughter, something that nowadays seems to be sadly lacking. (more…)
